with pragmatic, business focused legal support.
Paul Page-Tickell
Paul is a practical, down-to-earth commercial
lawyer who developed the ‘virtual in-house’ concept
in 2001 and who is personally respected by clients for his refreshing
approach to legal matters in the business context.
Paul read European Law at Warwick University in England, which
included a Diploma in French Law from Bordeaux University, France. He
qualified as a solicitor in 1993.
After initial post-qualification experience with Nabarro Nathanson,
Paul became an in-house legal adviser at Racal Group in the UK
(serving in-house clients in Racal Telecom, Racal Survey/Avionics,
Racal Datacom, Racal Research and the internet service provider
division Racal-Integralis).
Paul moved on to become Senior Legal Adviser at NTL Group in the
UK, supporting business-to-business operations in Carrier Services
and Channel Business Divisions. He was also responsible for
serving the Network Services Division, handling many strategic
and high value hardware and IT supply chain assignments.
Whilst at NTL, Paul was lead lawyer for the NTL/France Telecom
3G mobile licence auction, in which NTL bid over £4bn (US$6bn+)
in its attempt to secure a licence. Paul also advised the
senior management team on other mobility strategies, including
the NTL Mobile Joint Venture and negotiations to secure mobile
virtual network operator facilities.
Paul set up in private practice since 2001 and formed VIHPS
